These heating cables are installed and then covered by the sand and cement mixture before tiles are laid. The heating cables are close to the tile surface so the response and heat up time is very quick and efficient.
 
These heating cables consist of twin conductors (single ended) for ease of installation and are perfect for those suffering from asthma. The Inscreed cable is a quick response form of heating and is suitable for almost any type of flooring including granite, marble, limestone, terracotta, porcelain & ceramic tiles. The Inscreed heating cable is suitable for installation in concrete screeds and can also be used internally beneath thick stone floors or externally under pathways.
 
The wattage density of the floor can vary depending on the application and the area to be heated but is typically 170 watts/sqm.
 
All heating elements are factory terminated and are available in set lengths - 7 different sizes.
Although some tilers are quite happy to lay directly over this, we recommend a thin bedding to protect the cable and provide a better working surface.
